"ah ah" AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Posted by reverseharem7 on June 25, 2015 at 12:10 AM Comments comments (0)

Beware: rant about Teen Top and my loyalty basically. It's my thoughts after a day.

Ok, I've been putting "ah ah" on repeat and it's actually grown on me. I love their foot work and I love smooth songs. I guess Niel became the staple? And if you don't hear Niel and Chunji for the first half of the song, it doesn't sound like Teen Top? YET AT LEAST. I AM SO SORRY EVERYBODY. I hate myself. How can I do this to RICKY??? I'd say Changjo to, but I recognize his voice and registered to Teen Top. I AM JUST SO CONFUSED. But I think I was freaked out because it took a few seconds to recognize Niel's voice. I found out that it's like that for all the guys in their other songs too. It takes me a second then I'm like "CHANGJO." However, Chunji's and Ricky's voices are hard for me to discern for some reason. I think I'm getting it though. Ricky tends to have a more sensitive edge and Chunji tends to sing a little higher? I don't know how to describe it without saying the obvious: high notes. Because it's hard to discern when he doesn't sing it. UGHHHHHHHHHHHH, AND I CALL MYSELF AN ANGEL? But anyway, this does sound like Teen Top. Just not...as Teen Top? Like when I hear "Missing" and "I'm Sorry", it's Teen Top. No doubt. I honestly believe it's because I didn't hear much Niel (as much as usual at least). Oh my gosh, I'm so horrible. I'M SORRYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! I LOVE YOU RICKY! AND CHANGJO! CHUNJI! L. JOE! C.A.P.

This song is just so easy on the ears though. I find myself at the end of the song and not really listening to it. That isn't good. I don't know anymore. It's a very good song. I think this is Teen Top, but very mellow, which isn't bad. I think I've warmed up. Even "Missing" had an edge to it. "Ah ah" is very rounded. I'M NOT GOOD AT DESCRIBING LOOK AT THESE PICTURES.

Niel is so cute.

And L. Joe just chillin' like nobody's business.

6/27: Target Promo/Sensationail Gel Starter Kit

Posted by reverseharem7 on June 24, 2015 at 12:40 AM Comments comments (0)

For my coupons section, I'll delete each post as the last expiration date expires to lessen confusion and make searching for coupons faster.

Promo Codes:

  • BEAUTY5: Spend $20, get a $5 giftcard
  • BEAUTY10: Spend $35, get a $10 giftcard

After finding a $20 off coupon for the Sensationail Gel Starter Kit at Walgreens, I got curious about how much it usually costs. At Target, I found a greater deal. The kit over there costs $35.99-$49.99 versus Walgreens's $59.99 (these are all the original prices). Yikes! Target also offers four starter colors over Walgreen's availible three. And if that isn't enough to buy you over, then their promo code will. If you spend $35, you can get a $10 gift card with the promo code BEAUTY10. That makes the starter kit a total of $25.99 or $39.99. Granted, Walgreen's kits also cost $39.99 with their coupon, so to make it worth the effort, buy a starter kit that costs $35.99 at Target then use the promo code. I would have started with the color Raspberry anyway.

The LED Lamp (by itself) costs about $24.99, so why not get the starter kit? If you buy it separately, the other gel kits seem to be at least $5. Most of them are $10 or $11. The Sensationail Gel Starter Kit gives you a gel kit for only a dollar more. Shipping for orders of $25 or more are free.

Recommendation: Buy the Sensationail Gel Starter Kit online on Target's website in the color Pink or Raspberry and use the BEAUTY10 promo code. SHIPPING IS FREE.

6/27: Revlon Coupon @ Walgreens

Posted by reverseharem7 on June 23, 2015 at 5:50 PM Comments comments (0)

While you're at Walmart (getting CoverGirl products, I hope), be sure to use this Paperless Coupon for a Revlon Nail Color. I don't know why they put "Nail Color", but I think it means any Revlon nail polish.

But if they didn't mean just any nail polish, it was worth a try. Check it out guys, Walgreens carries Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel! Walgreens online website says that it's $5.99 each, so with it the coupon it would be $2.99. The reviews seem to agree that it works. I've never used a scented nail polish before, but it looks super cool. If you've used any scented nail polish before, tell me about it! I'd love to try one that actually works.

7/4: CoverGirl Coupons @ Walgreens

So I was looking at Walgreens's website because I wanted to find Wet n' Wild coupons. I didn't find them, but I did find something great. A whole slew of CoverGirl coupons!!!

Weekly Ad:

Paperless Coupons:

So the Super Sizer is getting mixed reviews. MakeupAlley gives this product 3.5 out of five stars. Walgreens sells the Super Sizer for $7.49 so that would be $5.99 and with the Weekly Ad that could be $3.00. Along with the $1 off coupon, the item that you buy along with the Super Sizer (it has to be $7.49 or above) would be $6.49 minimum. If you use all the coupons, it's a grand total of $9.49 minimum. Remember that the weekly coupon can only be for eye, lip, and nail products.

Another Drugstore Want (Wet n' Wild)

So I was showing my mom the color I would have painted my nails when I stumbled upon wet n' wild's pencil eyeliner. They were shimmery and the hues were electric! Best of all, they are only $0.99 each. But, alas, I have not bought it and my mom rarely takes me out shopping, so it will have to go on my drugstore wishlist. Today, it is June 23, 2015 and Walgreens sells them as "Wet n Wild Color Icon Liner Brow and Eye Pencil." There are fourteen colors to pick from! Now, I just got onto their website and, apparently, wet n' wild's MegaEyes Cream Eyeliner got a temptalia's editor choice award in 2014. Walgreens sells it for $3.79. I really want to try these so maybe...

From left to right: olive, cool green, turquoise, deep blue, purple, and charcoal.

The picture of what the colors look like is from the website frostingandfacials (http://frostingandfacials.com/). I haven't explored her website, but Jessica wrote a review of these babies and has some other cool reviews for other cheap makeup. I'd totally check it out if I were you.

Thank god for Angels like this.

I like this song a lot more than when I didn't understand it, I can tell you that. However, I could of done without that butt part. I'm too tired to type anything more tonight so I'll blog more tomorrow on this.

Second Thoughts (Beware: Ranting)

Posted by reverseharem7 on June 22, 2015 at 11:05 PM Comments comments (0)

"Ah-ah" or "Morning to Morning" is a great song but I haven't clicked the replay button like I have for "I'm Sorry", "No Perfume", or "Rocking." Not to say I haven't clicked it, but it's not with the same vigor as my favorite songs. All the vocals are great and I'm talking about you Ricky, but I didn't recognize Niel's voice until like 1.4 seconds later. It was like a delayed reaction. I heard this singing voice then realized it was Niel when the oNIELy voice (this is what I'm going to call it for now on) came on. Same with Chunji. He didn't stick out. It didn't quite feel like Teen Top. I hate to say it, but it feels more generalized. Less of Teen Top in essence. C.A.P.'s rap was on point though. SO. ON. POINT. L. Joe did great but I didn't focus on his rap much...I STILL LOVE YOU THOUGH L. JOE. I'M SORRY!!! Here's a discussion at the comments section that perfectly describes how I feel about this song right now. This is subject to change and who knows what I'll think about it tomorrow.

I completely agree with akiheavenly6. I feel the same way she/he does, but I also think that it's good that they're using this concept. When I was watching a live concert of "Rocking", Niel's singing was out of tune. It was just off. I'm glad that it's more stable and in tune for whatever reason. I know that their dancing is super involved and it's hard to sing AFTER DANCING THE FREESTEP. I MEAN, LOOK AT THAT.

EXACTLY.

In other live videos of "Rocking" Niel sings perfectly (I think. I can't remember but I'm 99.9% sure I'm sure it was perfect) so I don't know what happened. Anyway, I realized that they danced a lot. I love their dancing, but when 67% of the song is dance and the 25% is made of choruses (rap making up the rest of it), their talent as singers doesn't shine as bright as it should. I found myself wishing that they had a song to prove that not only could they dance, but that everyone could sing. I wanted a song that downplayed the dancing (that I enjoy so much. I know. I love it but it had to go) and played singing as a strength. And "Missing" gave Niel the opportunity to do that. "I'm Sorry" gave me that moment when I recognized Changjo's voice and I'm sure that "ah-ah" will do the same for Ricky. This is what I asked for and I'm glad that Black Eyed Pilseung decided to show off what music Teen Top can make. This really broadens their genre and (of course) singing.

In summary, "ah-ah" is a great song. Can't say I love it yet but this happens all the time. I think "meh" and watch something else only to replay what was "meh" a thousand times. I'm glad they gave singing the spotlight despite Teen Top being know for "knife cutting dances." It gives a chance to say "Hey! Not only can we dance; we can sing!" This trend of groovy songs has given Changjo and Ricky an opportunity to show off, and these are the right type of songs to use right now. However, I hope we can get an upbeat song (preferably from BraveBrothers) next year because Teen Top is so energetic and I want a song that gives off that vibe as well as giving all the members a chance at the spotlight. Teen Top, fighting!

TEEN TOP COMES BACK WITH "AH-AH"

This blog title deserves all caps along with being bolded, italicized, underlined, flashing lights, glitter, gold, you name it! I have FOUND the mv for "ah-ah"!!! I don't know what took so long but here it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my mint chocolate chip icecream, Ricky has lines. Like, a lot of lines. This is amazing! I knew he was a great singer (because he was in a musical recently) but I was blown away. Out of all the members, he's the only one who's voice I don't recognize. Strangely, I can't differentiate Chunji's voice as much if he's not singing high notes (I AM SO SORRY CHUNJI, NOTHING PERSONAL I SWEAR) but Ricky's voice used to be like "...Was that Chunji? Changjo just sang and it can't be Niel..." I still need hearing practice with Ricky and Chunji but I'll get there, I swear I will. But for now, I'll just enjoy this song. The whole video, I could not stop smiling. I'm just smiling myself silly.

This was my first impression. Now, I'll write another post about my next thoughts, but, Angels, we have to promote them right now! It's time to kickstart this song to make sure that they win some awards!!! WHOOOOOOO!

Lyrics of ah-ah?

So I was looking for the release date of "ah-ah" but stumbled across a cut of the lyrics. According to Yahoo, Teen Top has "been releasing a lot of innovative songs during their career" and "are going to captivate many people with their new transformation once again." Let me tell you, this body was BORN ready to be captivated. They've gone from super, uber energetic dance songs to a more pop style into Lindt chocolate smooth songs. I'm telling you, "I'm Sorry" probably charmed the pants off someone. I love all of their songs (and I totally dig the groovy route), but I hope that we still get to hear some more upbeat tunes in the future too!

It looks like Niel's parted hair is to stay, along with the black(?) dye and the waviness. Another hair style to get used to but it's cute. I totally dig C.A.P.'s slicked back hair and sunglasses for the mv. Chunji's hairstyle looks the same despite the dye and Ricky looks adorable and mischievious at the same time! Those eyebrows are making me giddy (whaaa...?). Changjo's haircut looks waaaaaay short. I prefer his usual hair but oh well... And L. Joe...I didn't even recognize him.

They came out with their album "Natural Born Teen Top" today at 12:00 A.M.!!!!! I cannot BELIEVE it! Time to go searching for more deets!
